What We Do
In order to direct resources to the earliest stages of innovation, BioDiscovery Toronto, in full collaboration with the business development offices of the member institutions:
- Supports early stage commercialization projects
- Involves industry and business expertise at the earliest stages of invention and technology development
- Builds partnerships between academic, entrepreneurial, industrial, financial and government partners
- Provides mentorship and training opportunities to researchers, graduate students and entrepreneurs in the Toronto region
- Supports a central point-of-entry vehicle to facilitate industry/VC access to Toronto's biotechnology
