Our clinical centres of excellence focus on women\'s and infants\' health, (we have the largest obstetrical and gynaecological program in Canada), surgical subspecialties and oncology, general and critical care.

Research programs at the SLRI are focused in eight interrelated transdisciplinary centres of excellence directed to understanding the function of our genes and how genetic pathways lead to the development of human disease. The centres are:
