An introductory short list of our members’ facilities, centers and programs associated with specific research areas is given below. Please see Members section for complete listings

Children's Diseases

The Hospital for Sick Children, Research Institute (Hospital for Sick Children). The disciplinary research programs are: (1) genetics & genomic biology, (2) structural biology & biochemistry, (3) cell biology, (4) developmental biology, (5) integrative biology, and (6) population health sciences. The interdisciplinary programs are: (1) brain & behaviour research, (2) cancer research, (3) cardiovascular research, (4) infection, immunity, (5) injury & repair research, (6) lung biology, and (7) metabolism research. The interdisciplinary programs focus on clinically relevant problems, such as a specific disease that can affect more than one organ system, or certain organ systems with specific diseases.

Paediatric Regenerative Medicine Program (Hospital for Sick Children).  The Paediatric Regenerative Medicine Program at The Hospital for Sick Children is comprised of a cross-disciplinary group of scientists interested in Regenerative Medicine. Bringing together both clinical and research-based knowledge the group aims to use translational research to understand and facilitate tissue regeneration, transplantation and tissue reconstruction.

The Paediatric Regenerative Medicine Program utilizes the sciences of cellular biology, developmental biology, molecular biology and biomaterials science to create their multidisciplinary approach.
