Vision and Mission

In 2002, seven of Toronto's prominent research institutions came together in order to promote themselves under a single banner. This informal network has persisted without the provision of any formal resources since 2002 and is evidence of the desire of these institutions to work together towards common goals.  This initial informal collaboration has now evolved into a formally incorporated funded entity, with professional staff linking the expertise and resources of the technology transfer/ research business development offices of our member institutions.

BioDiscovery Toronto's vision is to "maximize the commercialization of research by linking research, industry and capital."

BioDiscovery Toronto's mission is to "provide a central interface between the Toronto research community and industry, and facilitate cross-institutional activity."
